Log Milling

All logs are cut on a custom built wide cut bandsaw mill. Built in Australia from an American design it has the capacity to cut up to 1.7m wide and 5.2 m long. The advantages of a bandsaw are much less wastage as the kerf of the blade is only a few mm which means greater timber recovery, less sawdust and a faster cut speed increasing efficiency and productivity.

Reswoodmill offers a unique service. We will pick up the logs you want milled, cut them to desired thickness, strap them and deliver back to the customer.

At Reswoodmill our bandsaw mill affectionately known as “millzilla” cuts through Australian hardwoods with relative ease due to its variable speed adjustments and the use of high quality blades with a kerf of 2mm.

The thin diameter of each cut allows for greater wood recovery and less wastage per log. The high speed of the cut also allows greater efficiency and productivity.

Special Service

Reswoodmill offers a unique service – we pick up your logs using our crane truck and bring them back to millzilla where we cut them, stack and strap them then deliver them back to you. A complete service for your logs. Get in contact to discuss further.

Beams & Posts

Millzilla can process beams up to 5.2m long and due to its large throat it can cut a massive 400x400mm beam/post.
